Circle Star Pet Resort & Training

Circle Star Pet Resort & Training has been in business since 2005. In 2017, Michael, Deborah, and their family purchased this beautiful 100-acre ranch and business to share the passion they have for animals. We provide tender loving care to each of our guests and live on the premises with 24-hour camera surveillance.

Our staff has years of dog experience and have attended multiple programs to further their education through The Dog Gurus courses and IPBSA (International Boarding & Pet Service Organization) class offerings. We are members of both IPBSA and The Dog Gurus, and are proud to offer the best dog daycare, pet boarding, dog training, and grooming services to dogs in Athens, Tyler, and Lindale, TX, and beyond.

Tamara Watson

Manager

Tamara Watson has been with Circle Star Pet Resort & Training since 2015. She began as a housekeeper and has worked her way up to Manager. She enjoys all aspects of the resort and reassuring customers that their pets are in great hands. She and her husband, David, live in Ben Wheeler with their Catahoula/Basset, Bo whom she adopted from Circle Star Pet Resort & Training.

Paige Alvarez

Assistant Manager and Groomer

Paige is our very talented groomer and assistant manager. She has been with Circle Star Pet Resort & Training since 2016 and has three dogs of her own.

Bridget Ray

Bridget Ray has been professionally training dogs since 2017. While searching for a new career path, I found myself working at Circle Star Pet Resort & Training, where I learned that I had a true passion for dogs. The first dog I trained was a rescue, whom I later adopted. My drive comes from knowing that I am making a difference, in not only the dog's life, but the family's lives as well.

San Juanita Fernandez

Supervisor

San Juanita Fernandez has been with Circle Star Pet Resort & Training since 2019. She has always had a passion for animals and has four dogs, and three cats of her own. In her spare time she enjoys bass fishing and taking her dogs shopping at PetSmart for new toys.

Savannah Walker

Supervisor

Savannah has been with Circle Star Pet Resort & Training since October 2021. She has always had a passion for animals of all sizes. She has two Aussies, one shih tzu mix, and one cat. She also has two children. She enjoys spending her time off surrounded with her family and fur babies. Savannah plans on going to vet school in the near future. 

Pinky

Pinky has been with us since she was a little puppy. She has successfully completed our 30-day obedience training program. Pinky helps new dogs acclimate to our environment. She never meets a stranger.
